ASSASSINATION, REPUDIATION and DISGUST  (TWO PARTS)


Every aspect of the life of accused killer Jared Lee Loughner is under a microscope by the entire political spectrum and this too will create more of the blame game which is the tone of todays politics. Under Federal law, the attempt on the life of a Congress person (thats Gabby and her staffers) is considered an assassination.

After all "someone has to be blamed", since that's the nature of the rhetoric today. The tragedy of this whole situation is that it could have been avoided.  The bizarre actions of the shooter went unheralded after both school officials and police with met him on several occasions. No Baker act, no mental health activity originated, simply no help. In defense, no clues.   When stopped for a traffic infraction shortly before the shooting, he had the right paperwork, no warrants and was issued a warning.

The gun and ammunition used offered no resistance to the purchase. They (GUN) came from Sportsman's Warehouse and (Ammo) Wal-Mart.  Again, clues, no follow up and a failed system. The most important part is where did he get the thirty round magazines?

On their website I located the following:

WAL-MART HAS RELEASED A STATEMENT

"This is a horrific tragedy. We share in the sadness for those people whose lives were ended too soon and we're praying for the recovery of those who were injured."  

"We are cooperating with federal and local law enforcement agencies and remain in close contact with them." An associate recognized a picture of Mr. Loughner on TV as being someone they had seen in one of our stores.

LOOKING FOR CLUES

During information gathering I Googled "ammo 9mm Wal-Mart" since they know now thats where the ammo for the thirty round clips came from. On a blog who has nothing to do with the incident, one blogger caught my eye.  I noted a comment made by an NRA Benefactor Life Member who wrote the following about ammo purchases. It's almost uncanny.

"While there may be some good deals out there, (on ammo) even when factoring shipping costs, I buy ammo from Wal-Mart. I find it to be the best overall deal, and you can use it the day you buy it."

MAKES NO SENSE
Nothing close to rational for what he did. Nothing makes sense. In the search of his motivation for shooting Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in the head and slaughtering random innocents, including a 9-year-old girl, the blame game is in full swing. Ironically, the premier target is Sarah Palin.

Fox News, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin and Bill O'Reilly and the rhetoric they spew on a daily 24/7 basis are like the seeds to a farmer. Nor today will be the day but tomorrow might in the mind of one who hears voices and follows commands of demons. It's obvious none of them actually had anything to do with this travesty, but their rhetoric certainly stirs the hearts and minds of the heartless and mindless.

A FEW DAYS PRIOR
Gabby had made statements about Palin's online map that put certain districts in crosshairs indicating that Republicans should target their representatives for defeat in the elections. Her sense of survival and fear brought this to the surface as shown in many interviews. She knew what Palins rhetoric could possibly do. A seed, an image, nothing more, but like any harvest, seeds grow and combined with the daily dose of this rhetorical sunshine, the crop comes in.

THE COMMENTARY
•  "This now deleted image from Sarah Palin (sic) website will be reason this terrible shooting has huge political ramifications," CNN's Piers Morgan tweeted, linking to an image of the crosshairs map.

•  "When Palin put crosshairs on a map, pointing to Rep. Gifford and nineteen other Democratic targets, both men and women, she urged followers to 'reload' & 'aim' for Democrats," tweeted Michael Moore, the filmmaker known for his left-wing documentaries.

•  "Congresswoman in AZ, who is ON Sarah Palin's crosshairs map was SHOT in the head 2day. Happy now Sarah?" tweeted actress-comedienne-commentator Kathy Griffin.

•   Keith Olbermann said Beck and O'Reilly should apologize on air for inspiring the killer and, if they don't, their sponsors should repudiate them and President Obama should consider canceling an interview scheduled on Fox with O'Reilly on Super Bowl Sunday.

Fox News head (code name Shiesten-flinger) Roger Ailes noted that maps with images of targets on them are often used in politics, including one from the Democrats in 2007 that contained "targets on it for the Palin district."  

This is true, they used arrow targets and little mention of guns. The difference is that Palin is all gun. Her entire spiel to the masses is all about lock and load, then reload. Since the NRA is one of her biggest supporters, it all makes sense. She pretends to talk their talk, just follow the money... see who else in Congress takes the dues money from the NRA.

Checking back it's true, but they were not dart board like, nor gunsights.
  But easily confused with gunsights. 
Nevertheless, Ailes said he advised personalities on Fox News to tread lightly. In an email reportedly that had leaked earlier to the incident he told the Channel of Spin to cool things down a bit. After the shooting,  "I told all of our guys, shut up, tone it down, make your argument intellectually," he told Simmons. "You don't have to do it with bombast. Remember Palin works for Fox news.

PALIN TWEETS -  Up, up, and away and crash.
As soon as the event hit the headlines and Sarah's map popped up they dropped it from her Facebook and the web. Too late, one of her aids,
Sarah Palin's new media aide, Rebecca Mansour sought to deflect attention from an electoral map Palin posted on her Facebook page last March in an appearance on Tammy Bruce's radio show Saturday.

"The images long described as crosshairs or rifle sights were actually just surveyor's symbols, Mansour said'.

NOTE TO MANSOUR: If you want to spin, get your information correct. She claims in the inevitable SPIN GAME the gunsight icons were "SURVEYORS MARKS", please, please, cork that. Another substitution and spin that shows stupidity above and beyond the call of duty.

WE BELIEVE WE HAVE THE TRUTH
To set the record straight and to educate Palin's spokes-peep, those are not "Surveyors marks". They can't even get the spin right! They are "Registration Marks" used in lithograph­ic or offset plate printing for the past fifty years.

Is Sarah Palin to blame for this tragedy? No. The deranged psychopath that went postal does take the blame,  but who set the stage or planted the seed. I find it a

mazing we are, as I learned from MSNBC Lawrence O'Donnell last night, the only country with a phrase for going off the top and shooting fellow Americans for no substantial reason at all. "Going Postal" is a phrase unique to the US. 


Is Sarah Palin innocent and devoid of all responsibility.  No, she in competition with Beck, and Rush Limbaugh are just as wacko as those who pull triggers, they are catalysts. 

She is possibly the most vocal advocates in the political spectrum, she contribute­d to the aura of violent and intolerant rhetoric that continues to get worse each day and now the seeds of that rhetoric start to sprout.  


Some claim her map was done months ago and irrelevant. Thats when this seed might of taken hold, and worse. She was able to use that as a political wedge for her financial advantage, for the sacrifice of many.
