TOOLS OF THE CULINARY TRADE

We use tools every day. The most important culinary tools fit into two simple categories.  They are the cutting tools and the cooking tools. Simply put Knives, Pots and Pans. Everything else in the kitchen support these two groups.  The first step is knives which simply allow portion control and style of the food.  This is the "prep" stage.  It is followed by close associations like sharpeners and cutting boards.
