COALITION OF SPIN

SPINNERS AND SPIN DOCTORS MANTRA
  •  Truth is secondary to the size of the audience.

  •  You can hide behind the first amendment for as long as you wish using phrases like, “in my opinion, my thoughts, or anything else that tells you here comes spin or a whopper".

  •  Praising oneself is essential to the program.  False gods, read Exodus, your time will come.

  •  Have no political experience, nor military served time, but consider themselves experts in the fields.

  •  You may start in talk radio where no one sees you face so you can where your uniform and not be seen, recognized or assaulted.

RUSH LIMBAUGH

Rush Limbaugh  (Titular head of the Conservative Block) Is a fifty million dollar a year Self Proclaimed “Spiritual Leader of Intellectual Conservatism Anchored in Social Science’.  We just call him SLIC-ASS.
  •  It’s a love-hate relationship, some love him, and the others got him pegged. Daily bantering and misleading snippets with a really healthy dose of self-adornment is the trademark of his radio show and commentary.

  •  He like Glenn Beck is a recovering drug addict. In 2003, Limbaugh was illegally obtaining oxycodone and generics. Then in 2006, DEA agents at Palm Beach International Airport stopped him.  While on probation for drug use, he was found to have with someone else’s prescription Viagra.  That’s a no-no since he didn’t have the other guy’s libido with him.

  •  No answers just complaints and little if any of the other side of the story.  Truth has one side. Untruth has no sides.   It has been said, “Limbaugh's facts are almost never challenged on his programs”. A hostile caller hardly ever gets through the screeners on his radio show.

  •  No one in the history of national radio has had such a political platform. Limbaugh's chronic inaccuracy, and his lack of accountability, wouldn't be such a problem if people accepted him as an entertainer, like others with rhetorical themes.

FLUNKY EDUCATION:

Like many who did not graduate College, or finish two semesters, he rarely mentions education, as he is self-taught. There are few books on earning a Degree of Distortion.

  •  He ousted himself after less than a year in 1970 from Southeast Missouri State. Reportedly flunked out of what was essentially a community college. But there are the “ditto heads” and other “wannabees” who think he is real and take Limbaugh seriously.

  •  In spite of rumors, Rush Limbaugh III is not a prominent attorney. Nor is he an attorney period, nor is he a graduate, nor a sophomore for that matter.

  •  Almost on a two week stay at a psycho ward, par with Beck, his rocketing competitor, some think Limbaugh is not as weird as Beck.  Thats like telling an ulcer patient you'll love the choice, will it be  Habanero or the Scotch Bonnet Dressing on the wings.

THE ARROGANT IMBECILE:
  •  Rush’s most arrogant despicable moment came when he mocked actor/stem cell advocate Michael J. Fox and said the actor was faking the tremors that are a symptom of his Parkinson’s disease.  It was at that point, some gave him the nickname, big fat pr*ck. So he went on a diet and lost some weight, so they dropped the FAT part.

  •  Another charming moment came when he suggested on-air that African-Americans make inferior NFL quarterbacks.  Not to be outdone he called possible veterans who were opposed to the Iraq War “phony soldiers.”  And claims, he was mis-quoted and meant those who never served pretending to have served. That debate never found redemption.

HE IS A BORE HERO:
  •  He never served his country. In fact when the nation had a military draft for the Vietnam excursion, police action, commie crackdown, or call it just war, he avoided service by having his physician certify his medical unfitness due to an "inoperable pilonidal cyst" and "a football knee injury from high school."

  •  He played one year of varsity football in high school, and his coach, said later, he remembered no injuries to Limbaugh. Too bad.  As far as a cyst on his ass, you will have to check that out yourself under draft dodging 101 rules and gain permission to see his ass.

GLEN BECK, CFM (Certified Fear Monger)

090909book6.jpg

New to the scene, and with recent freedom from drug and alcohol abuse, Glen Beck is infatuated with, and draws parallels with the Nazi's.  He goes into these fits and sessions where even Goebbels would be proud.  But alas Goebbels and Limbaugh share the same birthday, not Beck.

  •  He is on a fast track and already has earned a paltry 24 million dollars this year doing his thing.  It’s easy to try to explain him, obviously those drugs he took had long time retention and today he’s nuttier than ever.

  •  But he is also sharp as a tack and knows how to instigate, infuriate and irritate enough to make good money at it. He’s also hard to write about because you would be endorsing his untruths.

  •  Just looking around the web I found a myriad of his worst comments and acts by many others who see through him.  Frankly he isn’t worth the time, there are enough shock jocks out there.

  •  But he is there which makes me worry about the state of mind of some of our citizens in his audience.  And it’s a different kind of audience; there might be a few intelligent ones out there but as the placards and signs show they might get smoked by fifth graders. Many of the placards had racial overtones and were really something you would expect at a KKK convention. These are his followers.  He is another on our list of False Gods.

  •  Constantly making reference to the Nazi's comparing them to the current administration really does little but hurt those who don't need to be reminded of what those bastards did.  Those references belong in the Holocaust Museums not talk radio.  It serves him well.

  •  He is just another ex-alcoholic druggie using shock jock. He came from radio and does have appeal to the FOX crowd of anti-anything.  He is typical of Herr Rupert Murdoch’s clone and agitator partisans known as the ANAL-ists because all they spew is XXXX.

  •  Known to say anything, even despicable thoughts, he was tackled by the super funny and very intelligent Steven Colbert. Colbert took a shot at him about one of his tirades in 2005.  Colbert used a classic "Daily Show" tactic, exposing the hypocrisy of Beck's 9-12 project by highlighting comments he made on September 9, 2005.

  •  Beck’s quote was "This is horrible to say, and I wonder if I'm alone in this," Beck said on his radio program that day, "you know it took me about a year to start hating the 9/11 victims' families?  I don't hate all of them. I hate probably about 10 of them. But when I see a 9-11 victim family on television, or whatever, I'm just like, 'Oh, shut up!' I'm so sick of them because they're always complaining. And we did our best for them."

  •  On another show Colbert summed it up in a unique way. "He said, 'Let's start doing some Glenn Beck stuff but in praise of Glenn Beck,'" said Colbert. "But every time we do one, he will have done something dumber. He raised the stupid bar and now it's nearly inapproachable."  "I worry that if we use that as a model...if somebody doesn't believe what they're saying, it's very hard to out-stupid them," said a decidedly analytical Colbert. "Because then there's no place to sink our hook into, there's no mountain to climb there. I can't climb Glenn Beck since there's nothing there."

  •  Also, ATLANTIC’S James Warren wonders if  "cable TV news channels, amid wicked competition and in pursuit of entertaining fare, have blurred lines to the point that only a declining minority probably truly differentiates among fair-minded journalists, ideologically-driven pundits and even professional jokers dabbling in politics."

To understand Beck better you have to read his commentary.

2003  - “Every night I get down on my knees and pray that Dennis Kucinich will burst into flames.”

2005 - "I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it."

2005 - "When I see a 9/11 victim family on television, or whatever, I'm just like, 'Oh shut up' I'm so sick of them because they're always complaining."

2005 - “The only Katrina victims we’re seeing on television are the scumbags.”

2006 -  “Let me tell you something, there ain’t nothing better than looking at a hot, naked chick.”

One of his worst insults came about during an interview.
In November 2006, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), the first Muslim U.S. congressman, appeared on Glenn Beck. Beck told him, “I have been nervous about this interview with you because what I feel like saying is, “Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies.”

The incident earned Beck a spot on the alternative weekly Buffalo Beast ’s list of 2006’s most loathsome people. The paper wrote, “It’s like someone found a manic, doom-prophesying hobo in a sandwich board, shaved him, shot him full of Zoloft and gave him a show.”    That’s sums him up.

BILL O' REILLY:

O’Reilly is another of the Beck, Hannity, clan. The  spores of Rupert Murdock’s UUFU - The Unfairly Unbalanced FOX NU's.

He is the elder statesman for FOX and one of the few who are college educated.  He aways claims no spin, but we have jails full of those who claim things they didn't do.

Sidenote: The other is  Neil Cavuto, FOX business reporter, and "anal-ist" editor, bullsh*tter, story teller, but his truth button went off when he left a mike open and one of the other guys from another station caught his remarks.  He cheats. He reported twice the amount of people at a TEA Party. The promoter when asked by Cavuto said something like 2000 and he said, can't say that, we'll make it 5000 or more.  Thats because Beck is an instigator of these events and a fellow ANAL-ist.

NO TRUTH UNTURNED:

  •  O'Reilly's prime time commentary knows no bounds.  Appropriately called The O’Reilly Factor, its goal is to target anything from new angles.

  •  Truth is secondary. Controversy is number one. That is the mantra of or the modus operandi of the FOX crew. O’Reilly has successfully branded The O'Reilly Factor with the slogan “The No Spin Zone”. That’s like putting the Ayatollah Kakameemee in the same league with Mohandas K. Gandhi.

  •  Recently quoted " There is a new rhythm now with the new president. You also have to freshen your show, you have to change your show; you can't do the same show for 14 consecutive years. Like I said show biz and news. Truth is the third player of that team’, like I said. you goy it Bill, truth is last on the list.

  •  Other notable insults and assaults include but are not limited to a legal excursion with Ms. Andrea Mackris, a former producer who accused him, of sexually harassing her and possibly others. According to a complaint leveled by Ms. Mackris, O’Reilly subjected her to a series of his carnal fantasies, including one involving Mackris’ “spectacular boobs”.  She won the settlement.  We could not verify the "boobs".

  •  O'Reilly is controversial; these Murdoch soldiers are from the same mold. News is not news, stories are tools for ratings.  The magazine Media Matters and Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting  checked O'Reilly's reporting on a variety of issues, accusing him of distorting facts and using misleading or erroneous statistics.

  •  After the September 11 attacks, accused the United Way of America and the American Red Cross of failing to deliver millions of dollars in donated money.  It was never proven.  O'Reilly reported that “the organizations misrepresented their intentions for the money being raised by not distributing all of the 9/11 relief fund to the victims’.  Quick to respond, Actor and global humanity activist George Clooney accused O'Reilly of misstating facts and harming the relief effort.

  •  A world-class charmer, O’Reilly referred to the Iraqi people as a “prehistoric group.”  His foresight really comes across as in the same broadcast, O’Reilly noting that, his solution to the intervention in the Muslim world, is simply “What we can do is bomb the living daylights out of them, no more troops, no more hearts and minds”.

  •  In 2003, O’Reilly called for a boycott of French products, including French fries in retaliation for French President Jacques Chirac’s objection to the Iraq war.  At least he could be right about the fries.  Switching to baked or mashed potatoes could lower cholesterol significantly. He might have done a service to the Cholesterol Generation for that thought.

  •  O’Reilly has also consistently railed against what he calls the “War on Christmas,”. He is aghast at the commercialism and an affront towards the solemnity and sacredness of a holiday.  His keynote was the trampling death at Wal-Mart of the security guard.  I might back him on this as I consider Wal-mart as the breaker of the American Dream.

  •  But this is a tactic that most of these jerks use.  Each time you really go over the top to get the controversy and ratings you take a “safe subject like religion”, patriotism, baseball and apple pie and make a full court press.  Sort of like fishing, throw the bait out, they bite and then slowly drag them in, and then release them.

  •  Beginning in 2005, O'Reilly periodically denounced George Tiller a physician who specialized in second and third trimester abortions often referring to him as "Tiller the baby killer".  These barrages of insults and denunciations often “trigger” the extremist side of some groups. In this case it did, Dr. Tiller was murdered on May 31, 2009. He was approached and shot by Scott Roeder, who is an anti-abortion activist.

  •  The Salon Media Group’s Gabriel Winant has asserted that O'Reilly's anti-Tiller rhetoric helped to create an atmosphere of violence around the doctor.  Jay Bookman of the Atlanta Journal  wrote that O'Reilly "clearly went overboard in his condemnation and demonization of Tiller" but added that it was just as  "irresponsible to link O'Reilly" to Tiller's murder.  O'Reilly has responded to the criticism by saying "no backpedaling here ... every single thing we said about Tiller was true".

  •  In early 2007, researchers from the School of Journalism published a report that analyzed O'Reilly's "Talking Points Memo" segment. Using analysis techniques developed in the 1930s by the Institute for Propaganda Analysis, the study concluded that O'Reilly used name-calling, frequently engaged in and consistently cast non-Americans as threats and never "in the role of victim or hero."

So he did well and if Dr. Joseph Goebbels, the father of twentieth century spinning and the author of the Third Reich mandate were alive he would be smiling.

  •  O'Reilly responded, asserting that "the terms Conservative, Liberalism, Left-Wing, Right-Wing, Progressivism, Centrism” and were considered name-calling if they were associated with a problem or social ill." The study's authors claimed those terms were only considered name-calling when linked to derogatory qualifiers.  Much ado about nothing, but the point was made Goebbels lives on…

SEAN HANNITY:
Sean Hannity attended St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary HS, and successfully either dropped out of, or was successfully dumped  by NYU.   Even after he told them how great he really was !  I guess they really were not impressed.

  •  Thus to stir his intellectual prowess he became  a bartender and construction worker.  His short career nursing drunks and bashed fingers strengthened his political views.

  •  Jerry Falwell eventually awarded him an honorary degree from Liberty University in 2005.   What a  deal!   For free no less, the rest of us have to pay $89.95 for this Honorary Degree printed on fine paper like Charmin. The Catholic Church wasn't too cool of him being a spokesperson, so the Baptists picked him up.  Buy the books and get the divinity degree!   What a challenge especially if they make you read them.  Liberty University now becomes a joke.

  •  He made his broadcasting debut on in 1989 at KCSB-FM, Santa Barbara.  His mantra was so hateful towards gays and lesbians that management canceled it. He was fired for gay bashing.

  •   Self-indulgent he placed ads in radio industry trade papers referring to himself as “the most talked about college radio host in America.”  Alabama radio station WVNN hired him as an afternoon talk show host.  The south shall rise again.  pointy hats, white sheets and all.

  •  Hannity finally reached the top of the cranial–rectal dyslexic talk show afternoon drive. The Sean Hannity Show began preaching to his fellow great Americans on over 500 stations nationwide. A self proclaimed "Great American".  Just ask, he'll tell you.

  •  Day after day his select panel of the same old, same old, same old, FOX rejects, adding their spin.  If you took his everyday panel, guests and Carl Rove and gagged them, no one would notice the difference from the previous days show, because it’s the same old show day after day.

  •  Few liberals, and moderates, if they are smart,  will not try to debate him on his show, he like Beck and  O'Reilly have a habit of beating up people who appear and they get cutoff, insulted, barraged with falsehoods and all designed to make this moron look good by attacking the guest and his viewpoint.

  •  Conservative Cal Thomas and liberal Bob Beckel, in their book Common Ground, describe Hannity as a leader of the pack among broadcasting political polarizers, which following James Q. Wilson they define as those who have "an intense commitment to a candidate, a culture, or an ideology that sets people in one group definitively apart from people in another, rival group."    I thought they were talking about Goebbels.

ANN COULTER:

Ann Coulter was born in New York City, and grew up in Connecticut. So far so good but there was rebel in her makeup and rapidly after attending Cornell  where she helped found The Cornell Review in 1984 she developed the attitude she has today described as “Rush Limbaugh in a skirt".  My eyes water and itch at that thought.

She is very attractive,  nicely put together in a tall model like package, "stacked' as in street language, and the kind of woman any man would lust for till she opens her mouth and here we go.  Then she becomes a wisecracking smart-ass broad with no restraint just a lot of comments and noise.

We can’t print here some of the other nicknames and comments. Children could be watching and it would be tough to explain the comments or the physical attributes needed.  Ann Coulter has said on the occasion, "She enjoys stirring the pot". Hopefully, one-day people will appreciate her, wake up, and find her stirring the pot from the inside, while the oil is reaching the boiling point.

NOTED EMBARRASSMENTS
  •  The Cornell Review was/is against affirmative action, gay rights, abortion, anti-apartheidism, and “political correctness”.  What exactly is “ political correctness”?  It’s basically an infestation found in Washington if you agree with the writer and pretend to do things which seems correct for the moment and will appear correct for the press, best explains it.  Think of it as saying and doing things that look good for you but don’t mean anything.

  •  She is no ones dummy and received her law degree from the University of Michigan. She worked for Sen. Spencer Abraham (R-MI), where she helped write legislation to speed up the deportation of aliens convicted of felonies. (Thats  one I can live with)

  •  One of her most memorable moments came on September 12, 2001, a day after the 911 attack on the twin towers, Coulter wrote, "We should invade [Muslim] countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity." (The National Review dropped her column over this.) She also refers to Muslims as "ragheads," “jihad monkeys," "tent merchants," and "camel jockeys." When confronted about such epithets, Coulter will often erroneously claim that she was being “funny.” About as funny as yelling “fire in a highrise”.

  •  One of her books, “Slander” spent 20 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. The most infamous quote from it is Coulter’s description of Today host Katie Couric as “the affable Eva Braun of morning television.” When Coulter promoted the book on Today, Couric introduced her as a “right-wing tele-bimbo.”

  •  Her most recent writing experience is a collection of insults and very stimulating ones at that similar to the one Dr. Joseph Goebbels published called “One liners For Those Working at the Crematorium”.  It is her nastiest and most provocative work prompting many to elect her as “the face that deserves a fist, winner of the year”.

  •  She indirectly referred to Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards as a “faggot.”   Not quite his outside the marriage tryst and subsequent fatherhood by John who impregnated his press filmmaker kinda killed that thinking.

  •  Not new to that type of insult, she had called Al Gore a “total fag.”   On March 5, 2007, she appeared on Hannity and Colmes faked liberal vs. Conservative slam down, Hannity always wins, and she explained that “faggot isn’t offensive to gays, it has nothing to do with gays. It’s a schoolyard taunt meaning “wuss.” With that theology in mind, I guess “Bitch” is acceptable in the prison system and may be used when convenient elsewhere.

  •  Leaving no stone unturned, most of her statements are meant to infuriate groups to gain publicity for her books or to raise the  public awareness of her. Does she actually believe the things she says, only she knows for sure but she is one who professes to be in depth with the Bible.  Obviously she sure doesn’t follow it’s tenets.

  •  Does she really believe all Jewish people should be “perfected” and become Christians?  That hit the trifecta!  She got the Muslims, the Gays and Lesbians and the Jews.  I’m sure at some time she got the Blacks too.

A CATHOLIC,  A PENTECOSTAL, A JEW AND A MUSLIM WERE IN A BAR:

The Catholic friend said; look it's Ann Counter, she's drowning,  I will save her.  I'll throw her a rope.  His slightly more religiously aware brother of the cross declared “with an anchor on it and let Jesus finish the job”. The Rabbi said ”why waste good rope”?  the Muslim said “and the anchor is worth nothing’?  Shame, throw a rock, I'll show you.

SARAH PALIN
She gets and has earned her own page; the "damsel of deceit" is just too much for one-liners. Sherman Yellen in the Huffington Post calls Sarah Palin, our first "Deather".  I propose an entirely new group for you to deal with -- the "deathers." These are folks like Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity who are trying to scare us to death. Add McCain and a few others.

KARL ROVE:
The true mastermind of the Bush Administration.  Saving grace, not amazing, how sweet the sound.  Karl Christian Rove was born on Christmas day. This must have provided him with some form of divine protection

To have accomplished what he has in such a short period of time with so little education proves you don’t have to be a winner on “So you think you’re smarter than a fifth grader’, to succeed.   Based on who he worked with, he graduated Magna Cum Loudmouth

  •  In both education and his resume, the facts are clear.
  •  He was the former Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush.
   •  In addition,  a Republican political/campaign consultant,.
  •  A Fox News political "anal-istst" and contributor.

  •  And a collector of federal inditements and investigations.

  •  Clean is not a word around Karl Rove.  If Cheney (aka Darth Cheney) was George W. Bush’s right ear, Karl Rove was the left. Too bad the “Cone of Silence” dropped down over their heads as the conversation between Karl and Dick reverberated through the empty chamber between the ears.  Rather than just executive clemency, most of the truth about things he orchestrated will be obscured by "executive privilege".  Think if it as having a “Get Out of Jail Do Pass Go Card.   Thats because if you follow the trail by Rove it leads higher up and that would be an embarrassment.
  •  Rove is only 58 years old and was born in Denver, CO.  In high school, Rove excelled in nerdism and debate. Then he attended the University of Utah,  Briefly, very briefly.  He also became a Utah Republican Party intern. After only two years, Rove dumped college and joined the National College Republican organization, elected to and as executive director.

  •  It was a rocky and tenuous relationship.   Rove disrupted the College Republicans summer convention so badly that, at its conclusion, no one was even sure who had won. The Washington Post published an article claiming that Rove had advised College Republicans to go through opponents' garbage as a legitimate political tool.  Normally, this would disqualify someone running for an elected position, but this is Teflon Karl Rove and even Gotti would be envious.

  •  The Republican National Committee was chaired by George H.W. Bush. Rove was appointed College Republican chairman. In fact, H.W. was so impressed with Rove that he made him one of his special assistants.  George always admired those who read past children's books.  He never would complete his degree putting him in place with Limbaugh, Bech, Hannity and other self proclaimed leaders and semi-spoke-persons for radical thinking and spinology.

  •  On several occasions, Rove has found himself in quick sand at the White house. Rove was, more than once, caught having policy meetings with the heads of corporations he owned stock in.

  •  Karl Rove had his hand in every major scandal over the 7 years he was in the White House.

His name was mentioned in the Valerie Plame leak, that got dumped on Libby BUT Rove had to settle for later confirming classified information. He was held in contempt of Congress for failing to testify over the firing of U.S. attorneys.

  •  In both cases, Rove was involved enough to commit a crime, but his involvement was convoluted enough for no one to care. This should come as no surprise considering those circumstances defined eight years of policy in the executive branch.  Karl avoided using the official government e-mail servers in the whiteHouse as required by law  to send correspondence.

  •  He got away with it, again George Bush covered his ass to avoid further embarrassment to the White House and thus helped avoid a federal indictment.  Err, does this make George Bush just as guilty?

  •  In the fall of 2007 Rove resigned from the White House. Book selling makes more money than working and by that time the administration was finally admitting economically we were in the outhouse.  OK, the shit-house is more accurate.

  •  In Washington parlance, the expression is “jumping ship” for reasons of not being there to take the full brunt of the blames and thus being in a financially more beneficial position, upright and no bullet wounds.  He still has plenty of things to explain and the inditements have not gone away. His book on the Bush Legacy may be declared "a book on fiction about fiction" or something like that because what else would you call something that replaces a bunch of lies with more lies.?

 CONG.  MICHELE BACHMAN:  R-MN

•  Michele Marie Amble Bachmann, is possibly Sarah Palin’s biggest competitor in the good looks, but no brains department.

•  She is a Devout Prejudist, which is an offshoot of the Latent Imbeciles of Minnesota Prefect (LIMP)

•  Bachman also shares Sarah’s love of God, as long as it is her God, country, her country and  her spiritual thinking. All others need not apply.  Left winger, right winger, nope Church and State winger with a lot of thumping, yes.

NOTABLE F*UPS: (Beyond belief)

  •  This devotional started when she opened the New Heights Charter School in Stillwater, Minnesota. The school’s curriculum featured creationism. and advocated that the "12 Christian Principles" similar to the Bill of Rights.  What happened to the First Amendment.

  •  She and the other heaven wingers refused to allow the movie "Aladdin," because it depicted witchcraft and promoted paganism. She better not watch the Simpson’s or pro Football.

  •  The Stillwater School Board called a meeting and by the end of the meeting, had her resignation.

  •  October 2008:  Bachmann appeared on MSNBC's "Hardball" with Chris Matthews. When talking about Obama's association with Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright, she stated “He and his wife, Michelle, held anti-American views and couldn't be trusted in the White House”.  No one can forget the look on Chris’s face and imagined what he was thinking.  Something like where did she buy the stuff she’s smoking.

  •  In another moment of brilliance on a conservative talk show host, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) has once again embarrassed herself.  Posted by the blog Dump Bachmann and the Minnesota progressive Project,  the clip has the Minnesota Republican telling KLTK's Chris Baker that she opposes she stimulus because we're "running out of rich people in this country."

  •  As if that wasn’t enough, she even called for the major newspapers of the country to investigate other members of Congress to "find out if they are pro-America or anti-America."

  •  For the record, Bachmann defines "America" as "stars, bars, and white people."

  •  "I don't think it's geography. I think it's people who don't like America, who detest America."  The reactions to her statements were overwhelmingly negative, with even Republicans distancing themselves from this crazy lady.

  •  Fall 2003: Bachmann began her yearly assault on gay rights, proposing a constitutional amendment that would ban same-sex marriage.
  •  Fall 2004:  In 2004, Bachmann and a coalition of religious leaders announced plans for what was billed as a "Minnesota for Marriage" rally. Thousands of people attended, holding signs that read, "Gays Should Not Be Married, Dontchya Know." It goes on and on.

  •  Busy 2005 protest of her proposed constitutional ban of same-sex marriage, Bachmann and her cronies were spying on the rally. Bachmann has been on record saying that homosexuals specifically target children and that "our children...are the prize for this community."

  •  During a 2005 community meeting in Scandia, Minnesota, Bachmann was seen running out of a public bathroom crying, "I was being held against my will." In a report filed with the country sheriff, Bachmann claimed that two women "believed to be part of a LGBT group" detained her in the bathroom. She apparently was terrified and feared for her life.

The women in question claimed they were simply making conversation with their local Senator while waiting in line. The case was dismissed.

  •  Surprisingly it is thought that Michele Bachmann's stepsister is a lesbian.  October 2006, Minneapolis Star Tribune news reporter Pat Kessler quoted a story that whether Bachmann’s church that she belonged to taught that the Pope is the Anti-christ. Yet read on. Bachmann stated that her church "does not believe that the Pope is the Anti-Christ, that's absolutely false... I'm very grateful that my pastor has come out and been very clear on this matter, and I think it's patently absurd and it's a false statement."

  •  But, research shows that the church in question is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, whose doctrine teaches that the Roman Catholic papacy is the Antichrist identified in Scripture.

  •  Bachmann came under scrutiny by the watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington for speaking at Living Word Christian Center.  They filed a complaint with the IRS against senior pastor, Mac Hammond and took issue with Hammond's using church equipment and facilities to declare; "We can't publicly endorse as a church and would not for any candidate. But I can tell you personally that I'm going to vote for Michele Bachmann."

  •  It was later reported that Hammond does not live in Bachmann's district and could not vote for her anyway. This was a violation of US tax law 501(c)(3) that says if a church wants to be exempt from paying taxes then "religious leaders cannot make partisan comments in official organization publications or at official church functions."

  •  Notable Endorsers:  Bachmann received support from a fundraising visit in early July 2006 from Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert. On July 21, 2006, Karl Rove visited Minnesota to raise funds for her election.

  •  In August, President George W. Bush was the keynote speaker at her congressional fundraiser, which raised about $500,000. Bachmann also received fundraising support from the Chairman of Vice Dick Cheney.

  •  Birds of a feather - The Wacky Bird  Bachmann contributed to the "death  panel” controversy when she read from a July 24 article written by Betsy McCaughey” from the floor of the House. Sarah Palin said that her "death panel" remark was inspired by what she called the "Orwellian" opinions of  Ezekiel Emmanuel as described by Bachmann, who accused him of advocating health care rationing by age and disability.

  •  According to PolitiFact and Time magazine, Bachmann's euthanasia claim distorted Emanuels statement.  FactCheck.org asserted, "We agree that Emanuel’s meaning is being twisted."  When many doctors wanted to legalize euthanasia or physician-assisted suicide, Emanuel opposed it.

CRITICAL COMMENT:
  • All have something in common as they tear down, they don't build up. The financial rewards I guess are good enough and being on top of their game during the perfect storm is well worth it to them.  Pretending to be the "protectors of the faith and America", it seems money, power, divinity,  is their real motive.  These people are so flagrantly far right, they have to plan a week in advance to get into the left turn lane.

  •  None of them have served the public interest with ideas and answers; Only one serves the people, the other who served likes the limelight rather than the public spotlight. They have, even in some cases avoided serving their country. Truth has little to do with what they say.

  •  Even Jerry Springer, his show a cornucopia of bargain basement losers providing entertainment at the expense of his guests has more credentials in politics.   Glenn Beck was heavy into drugs and booze, apparently some of it still lingers on based in tirades and rampant nut-casing supported by a cast of followers of what he preaches.

  •  The only interest they have is in their own personal fortune and you through FOX are paying them very well to entertain you. Their menu leans on shock, spinning, snipping, sniping and fear, very heavily and their mantra must be "It doesn't matter what you say, as long as someone hears it".  Show after show they interview similar minded nut cases, and then interview each other with their identical perverted views.

  •  It's a gaff; one night Hannity has Beck on and the next night Beck interviews Hannity. The usual cast of characters includes names like Michele Bachman, Ann Coulter, Karl Rove, the Republican Architect of Incredible Disaster, (RAID) and any other ultra right-winger.  Thats because no person in their right mind will appear with these idiots because they will get clobbered and overwhelmed.  I said it before these radicals are the misplaced center of the universe. Both extreme left and extreme right are not the answers. We have yet to see a bird that flew on one wing. Balance and truth are the answers, the only answers.  These folks are part of the problem.  I call them the...

  •  AKA the  “Coalition of Spin” consists of a few well-worn familiar faces that somehow manage to survive while stirring up the wing-tips and ruining the Republican ticket.  In spite of their rhetoric, so easily challenged, the lemmings fall for it hook line and stinker.  It makes me wonder how gullible and fickle so many of us are. Do we really go along with the lies we are fed, and we just accept them, without questioning the truth?   The rhetoric is disgusting, accusations involving President Obama’s birth certificate, his middle name, claims he is a Muslim; all the conspirator idiots are alive and well though their thought processes are dead and buried.

  •  If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. If you spin and don't tell the whole truth you are the problem.  When I hear a Congressman, Senator or any other elected government official for that matter supporting or standing stand on these false accusations and not defend the President of the United States, they go on my excrement evaluation terminal list.  “EETL”  They are in Politics; they are not serving the nation.  Truth is the answer not party lines.

  •  They would have us sweep under the rug all the mistakes made in the past eight years. Lets blame it on the new President. They too, have nothing to offer but ridicule and the same old plan they have stood on for years with a new twist. That’s why they are so loud and unified.  It’s nothing but distraction at any cost through the strong minds of intellectual speakers like ex-Gov; celebrity; book writer; hunter; fisherwoman; and professional pageant player; talk show host;  and now a FOX ANAL-ist,  Welcome "Sarah “Watch me Walk” Palin". Cue the applause!

  •  Frankly with so much spinning and outright lies this group isn’t capable of anything.  Truly they have forced the Republicans to become the party of NO and intelligent people need to speak out instead of endorsing some of their rhetoric, most of it so far gone and stupid I am amazed at some people.
