THE REAL TEA BEER PARTY

THE TEA PARTY TRUTH IN STEPS

samadams.jpg
  • The “TEA PARTY” should have been called THE BEER PARTY.  One evening, after some significant comsumption of the brew, a group of 50 to 130 men, (too drunk to count) and thinly disguised as Mohawk Indians, boarded the three vessels, the Dartmouth, the Eleanor and the Beaver.  Over the course of three hours, our merry men dumped all 342 chests of  British (From Indian) tea into the water.

  • The maligned Indians, the blame fell on them. "Tea Party Heroes”,  (not in my book, they were cowards, to blame the Indians). Many of these really fake impersonators (heavily imbibed) also had problems in or with their tea-pee and possibly polluted the harbor at that time.

  • The location of the Griffin's Wharf site of the Tea Party places it near the foot of Hutchinson Street (today's Pearl Street).  To this day the 342 barrel TEA dump has never been even closely challenged in the Guinness book of World Records. The last attempt, led to disqualification, when it was discovered the modern day “would be colonialists” used Instant Tea. There are no ships in Boston Harbor anymore loaded with Tea.  Maybe some pot smuggled aboard and other stuff but not TEA. So change your name to the TEA Pot party and cover the bases.

  • While Samuel Adams tried to reassert control of the meeting, people spurred on by gallons of brew, they "poured" out of the Old South Meeting House and headed to Boston Harbor.  Samuel Adams was a brewer of beer so there is the possibility he had his fill of TEA and possibly thinking,  “Hmm, drink beer, no more tea”…

  • To my knowledge, no TEA has been named after Samuel Adams nor is there a Tea Party Tea, how sad. There is a tea named Earl Grey named but today there is no Earl Of Grey.  It was just a label, it is a name for a dark Darjeeling tea blend metered for the British taste spiced with the oil of Bergamot Orange and named after the Second Earl Grey.

  • Today Samuel Adams Beer is an American tradition and award winner.  The name was chosen in honor of the American patriot famous for his role in the American Revolution and his beer.  Probably the first real Micro-Brewery.  If you asked 500 people today who is Samuel Adams, the most popular answer is “He makes beer”.

  • Samuel Adams immediately worked to publicize and defend the Tea Party. He argued that the Tea Party was not the act of a lawless mob, but was instead a principled protest and the only remaining option the people had to defend their constitutional rights. he was not the instigator, he was the fuel in the fire.

  • Now you know the truth.

WHATS IN A NAME - Spelling
I have never cared for the name the “TEA” Party.  Why is it any group that thinks their values and morals might be above the common mark always grabs a good piece of history. They steal the name and declare themselves instant winners because of the alignment to that historic name?

Frankly, some of them should have selected the "Official Greedy Selfish Bastards Club". -Or- something more modern, and honest than the TEA party. How about the “BEER PARTY”?

Perhaps the original TEA partiers were a bunch of coffee investors looking to change history with a new drink.  Can’t think it can happen?  Look at Coca Cola. Maybe, they hated TEA. At least be original. How about the “COKE” party?  On a scale of one to ten that could get you three to five.

The current crews mantra is not the original TEA PARTY public relations mantra. The very drunk colonists had a cause and acted out what they believed in.  And they were all of one cause. Domination of their rights by the private companies backed by the Brits.

Big business ruled the colonialists just as they rule the Congress today. So the real Tea Party should be fighting big business. Won't happen. Greed, follow the money….politics is all about money, not you or me.   This Tea Party crew today is a mixed bag of both good people and fringe idiots, lightly seasoned by a myriad of sub chapters that would make the crew from “One Flew over the Koo-Koos nest look sane” and that’s the problem.

OK picking a slightly different name can be good if it describes who and what you are.  But the problem is with the current crew all calling themselves the TEA Party, who is the real TEA party because they all have different agendas.  It’s an identification thingy, as Sarah Palin would put it.  So we will identify them for you. There is Sarah Palin the GOP Comedienne, recently overshadowed by Michelle Bachmann, the GOP Village Idiot, and now Ted Cruz, the GOP National Village Idiot.  His own party people and most GOP moderates wish he would drown in a TEA Barrel.

FIRST OFFENDERS - MICHIGAN-ERS, BE AWARE LIVING IN RAMBO LAND
In a controversial documentary, Chris Matthews MSNBC linked examined possible links between the grassroots movement and radical right-wing patriot groups who wish to overthrow the government.

Eight of the nine suspects charged in the Hutaree case: from top left, David Brian Stone Sr.,

OK, these nutcase fringer's have been around for years, nothing new. But the party like the Third Reich thought it was their time too.  These radical self termed "Patriotic Americans" right wing, gun hugging, “don’t take my gun away”,   NRA card carriers in lieu of a voter registration card, world crass intellectuals have un-caved themselves.

These troglodytes were diligently training in the Michigan and Carolina woods in pseudo scenarios for the eventual day when the LORD will instruct them to do their thing.  Result, seven arrested under federal inditement for attempted murder of Police Officers. Killing police officers is another story.  The charges of walking on their knuckles and stealing bananas were considered too small to prosecute and will be considered misdemeanors.

No one takes their party line seriously other then in the halls of the FBI and other agencies that watch over rebellious groups of idiots. Still needed anti-terrorist hands and assets are wasted on these nuts since they have to be watched as the trigger one day might be under the leadership of Jack Daniels.

Michigan has a lot of civilian militia types.  You know "Rambo-ettes".  They were fully armed, and the Feds could wait no longer.  Nine people federal prosecutors say belong to a "Christian Warrior" militia were accused Monday of plotting to kill a Michigan law enforcement officer and then attack other police at the funeral.

The group says on its Web site that "Hutaree" means "Christian Warrior" and proclaims on its home page, "Preparing for the end time battles to keep the testimony of Jesus Christ alive." "We believe that one day, as prophecy says, there will be an Anti-Christ. All Christians must know this and prepare, just as Christ commanded.

I could see it now, Jesus appearing at the trial and asking, what were you  bunch of schmucks thinking?   Bible's, M-16’s and AK-47’s, as a part of their religious conviction, I can only submit that even GOD will not know what they were thinking from the field report submitted by Jesus.

NORMAL ?
I have nothing against the normal rational fair people of the TEA PARTY and I can truly believe they mean well.  But as the expression goes "you can choose your friends but not your relatives”. In this case those that are dangerous and proclaim to be first cousins of The Party need to be thrown out of the family.  It will be the job of the righteous to eliminate the problem makers who answer to another agenda.

Often said you have to be careful who you get in bed with because that would be the downfall of the movement.  The Pro-life movement was OK till they started getting physical, violent, shooting and killing doctors.  And when the dawn breaks be careful of who climbed out of the bed you were in.  Especially if some of them had trouble sleeping and were counting sheep....

THE REAL TEA PARTY SPIEL

  •  The TP Federation is a broad coalition of national and regional Tea Party groups committed to improving communications between local, regional, and national tea party organizations

  • Their purpose is to facilitate and support clarity of message, rapid response to media misinformation, and to continue to collaborate and promote the movement’s core principles of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets.

  • We’re intelligent (????) protesters, not violent racists, we aren’t dangerous, “ e simply love our country and refuse to be useful idiots.”   our signs speak it all.

SOUNDS GREAT
OK I agree, you can just go on being idiots.  Your signage, racial slurs, references to Hitler, bad spelling, cursing and stupidity proved that.   Becoming an idiot is easy, just make some great signs which is an indication of a n award winning method of gaining friends.  Sounds impressive. For more information or to register and participate in the National Tea Party Federation, log on to their website at  www.nationalteapartyfederation.com.  The Communists, and the American Nazi party are also on the web claiming basically the same crap.

THE PSEUDO-CONSERVATIVE REVOLT

Quote From:  Richard Hofstadter's 1955 essay "The Pseudo-Conservative Revolt," "The ideology of pseudo-conservatism can be characterized but not defined, because the pseudo-conservative tends to be more than ordinarily incoherentsy about politics."    English version, translated   "Pseudo-Conservatives love the slogans, but can't tell you what they mean".

Some of them recite, fake, endorse, profess and master-debate the talk, they think is the talk, but don’t walk the walk, because they are lost in space not quite understanding exactly how the galaxy (Our Congress) works.  Masterdebaters….  We have some right-wingers so far right their space shuttles can’t make left turns and we need to use the tractor beam.

We managed to scrape up the birthers, led by Batshit Crazy Michelle Bachman, from the planet Uranus, who challenged Barack Obama’s Statement of Origin, ( birth certificate).  We found cases of pseudo patriots, and militia members, who never served their country, wearing guns claiming to be constitutionalists and anti-can’t read constitutionalists, can’t spell either and those whose constitution needs a good physic, and LORD get their sign painters a frickin spell checker.

THINK of it as A-HOLES meet the SUPER A-HOLES!
Two months after the Tea Party helped propel Republicans to a historic victory and received a cold welcome into the party some of their leaders are claiming something happened when their new congressmen drank from the polluted Potomac.

Tea Party Celebrities, some as qualified for office as Alfred E. Newman have been passed up for leadership positions on committees. Spare me please, the newbies aren't happy that their rubber blubber endorsees haven't taken over the Congress.  Just because you can recite the party line over and over again does not make you an expert. I call these folks political Elmo Dolls complete with pre-recorded quotes and mis-speaks already set in silicon wafers..

Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA), for example, lost to Rep. Hal Rogers (R-KY), for chairmanship of the House appropriations committee. A most powerful position but Rogers clearly had seniority even if he does have a taste for pork sandwiches mostly eaten in Kentucky.

The Bush tax-cut deal clearly got the pots boiling over the stove.  Compromise with the liberal Democrats, never. The tax cut pill, not a bill, added millions to the debt. In two years it will be back again, just like that pill you swallowed this morning, good for 24 hours, and the battle will ensue again over the Bush and now the inherited Obama Tax cut.

Meanwhile we will still be borrowing from China and going down the toilet at the same time. Shop Wal-mart, the dollar spent there will be available for the next round of borrowing as 88% of Wal-marts dollar go to China. So we buy the Chinese goods and then send them the profits for inferior merchandise.  Are we frickin nuts?

They are also pissed at the "START treaty and Don't ask, Don't tell". They are against anything that helps the current administration even if it means the wrong decision.  The "Start Treaty and Don't Ask, Don't Tell' were long overdue by a do-nothing Congress and a Party of No.

The only thing I see coming from the Tea Party is a style of politics by a few that will upset the many and the Republicans deserve every bit of it they get. They fueled their fires, the created rhetoric having little truth or value and woke up the old Ross Perot Closet-teers, the “ Bircher’s, a few Sons of the Birchers” and every costumed clown needing attention at rallies held by FOX’s powerful BS lobby.

When the Tea Party first began to appear on the radar most thought patriotism was at the core, and its name and DNA was to honor the Boston Tea Party. Unfortunately since we don’t teach history in school, its not as relevant as texting, cheerleading or football, anymore, few knew that the Boston Tea Party was specifically a bad thing, it meant well but bears false witness.

The government shutdown proved that the Tea Party of today does bear a resemblance to that stupid attack.  The TP could care less about what was good for Americans and The GOP.  It turned out they had their own right wing extreme agenda willfully funded by the KOCH Brothers and others.

They recruited and financially supported those who bowed to their agenda, using the FOX news network and its own media resources owned by FOX. That shutdown spearheaded by Ted Cruz (R-) cost the tax-payers 24 billion dollars.  Any other country would have placed his head on a spear.

TEA PARTY CANDIDATES
The Tea parties biggest problem will be one of what is their real identity and who really belongs to what part.  There are too may agendas under their flag and that will be their downfall. Most of the heavies supporting them like the Palin's, Rand Paul, Bachmann are noise, not substance.  Because they are all based on attacking and not promulgating anything new, they don't have much to offer except obstructionism if they do get into office.

That part is the danger. Every time this has happened, the third party like the third rail has either electrocuted someone or ran the train off the track. If they were any good I would be behind them 100%.  I just see them as easily recruited by the right wingers and used as pawns.

The old Church is the state crew, anti-abortion, same slogans, same logos as before. The Bachman-Palin Coalition. And the TEA PARTY will be taken over by these right wingers, birthers, deathers, dependers and political hacks.

They would like to make us think that Tea Potters are like a bag of M and M's, they come in all colors but the chocolate is the same on the inside. They want change as long as it is in their best interests. Some of those interests are not in the best interests of all. Teapots are fragmented, just like when that fine bone China pot hits the ground.

There's no one unified voice or group representing the movement, and it doesn't enjoy the status of an official party. While most of its members associate with the Republican party, many of their beliefs are at odds with the GOP.  Some points of light with blown out bulbs.

  • You might think that with Ted Cruz still hoarse filibustering the Senate, and House conservatives on the brink of shutting down the government, Tea Partiers would have reason to celebrate.

  • But a Gallup poll released this morning might put any partying on hold: -  Popular support for the conservative movement has dwindled to a near-record low.

  • The percentage of Americans who support the Tea Party shrank from 32 percent in November 2010, when Republicans retook the House of Representatives, to just 22 percent today. That’s not quite as low as the 21 percent support it commanded in late 2011, but it’s still a distinct downward slide that looks set to continue.

  • Tea Party-backed Sen. Ted Cruz is prominently fighting the administrations policies.  Cruz’s theatrics in the Senate have reinforced his status as the patron saint of the movement, and to many, he has become its public face. But many Republicans believe Cruz’s strategy is harming the party, and that distaste may be translating into waning support among moderate conservatives for Tea Party goals.

  • Cruz and fellow rabble-rouser Sen. Mike Lee (R– Utah) “have absolutely no idea what they are doing,” complains Jennifer Rubin at The Washington Post, a onetime cheerleader for the movement:  Lee and Cruz’s insistence that they are the ones "fighting" is belied by the facts. They are actually intent on running into a concrete wall again and again to prove their political machismo.

  • For many Republicans this isn’t bravery but stupidity.  But perhaps, a earlier this year, the Tea Party is losing support because its followers believe it has sold out to the mainstream Republican Party.    Supporters may have realized that what was once a grassroots movement of true believers has been “ Apropriated by a new class of political insiders," made up of freshmen congressmen awed by Washington, and money-scraping strategists for political action committees:

  • "All of them owe their power to the existence of this thing called the Tea Party. But now they have to maintain the illusion that the Tea Party is totally distinct from the GOP, and stands for meaningfully different values. Otherwise, those [congressmen] may no longer seem quite so special, and those PACs may be viewed as the latest in a long line of conservative money-gathering operations."

FAREED ZAKARIA HAS IT RIGHT
His comments about the American Voter doing the least investigation into who they should vote for is the main problem in our country today.  I agree 16% of Congress might by luck be doing their job. Thats means 84% really did not put the right person into the job.  But thats a whole other story.

Then again, while support is dwindling, opposition to the Tea Party is not growing. In fact, 51 percent of Americans said they had no strong feelings about the movement at all — neither supporting nor opposing it, or having no opinion. And the percentage of people who consider themselves Tea Party supporters is still higher than those who admit to being liberal, notes William A. Jacobson at Legal Insurrection:

"Think about it another way, if you were at a dinner table with four other people who represented the American electorate, one of the people at the table would be a Tea Party supporter. And two others would have no opinion."   And if Tea Partiers still believe their movement is leaking popular support, they might be comforted by the fact that there is still one group in politics even less popular than they are: The U.S. Congress.

This is a politically fueled and fed nightmare brought on by the likes of those who control the 24/7 media for personal gain, like Murdoch of FOX.  Helped by the politicians who no longer serve us, but serve themselves, like Palin, Gingrich, and a greedy few who are self mandated and marinated (soaked in their own grandeur)  into a quest for power at the expense of those who have been brain washed by the spewing of the extreme right or the extreme righteous. Congresswoman Michele (Bat-Crazy) Bachman comes to mind. Some of the things she says make Bush seem normal…nah!

The conditions are right for the election of the slogan throwers and on occasional throwers of media excrement who wish to change history to match their outlandish thinking. We have been through the birthers and now we are confronted with the changers.  Soon we will have the "dependers" if this crap keeps up long enough. Now thats a horrific sight. I can see it now, hundreds marching down Pennsylvania Ave. wearing "Depends".  Slogans like "You can Depend on Us", "We'll handle Washington's crap".  "We can stop the leaks!  Insane? No, look at some of their signs, not far away.

I see the most dangerous as the "changers" looking to rewrite the Constitution's main, most profound calling, the Separation of Church and State.  The Taliban and the Mullahs are a prime example when the two come together in a religiously controlled state.

WHAT ARE THEY SMOKING?

  • The TEA Party was formed, slightly right of Attila the Hun and the indoctrination meetings were copied from old anti- Vietnam War era films.  Same parades even looked like some of the old gang.

  • Several things immediately became apparent about them.  Image for one thing, those mis-spelled signs, hate pictures, and the Obama Hitler, the Joker and other artwork told me a lot about some of them.  Learn how to spell, you idiots, nothing like a moron to represent the masses with misspelled words like Washington. Are you that frickin stupid?

  • I stop or disregard many emails I get from concerned citizens who forward just about anything they think has merit.  Usually some TEA party slightly slanted right wing fear message but they added something to it. Their personal touch and comment.  And again poor spelling.  Morons seem to congregate around morons.

  • The email forwarder is asking me to forward a lot of bogus stuff to others. Topically, they are under the guise of patriotism, much of it is nothing but vitriolic racial and semitic hatred definitely aimed at a reaction against immigrants, Jews like me, black citizens, non-believers, Hawaiian birth certificates, and usually left wing Democrats.

  • We really have to be careful with some of the stuff coming out when the TEA Party, those well- meaning self-proclaimed great Americans, meet with a few loose cannons from the NRA and hopefully it will be an intelligent gathering and verbally low-scale.  Well, it’s already failed, in Michigan.
