THE TEA PARTY TRUTH IN STEPS
The “TEA PARTY” should have been called THE BEER PARTY. One evening, after some significant consumption of the brew, a group of 50 to 130 men, (too drunk to count) and thinly disguised as Mohawk Indians, boarded the three vessels, the Dartmouth, the Eleanor and the Beaver.
Over the course of three hours, our merry men dumped all 342 chests of British (From India) tea into the water. The location of the Griffin’s Wharf site of the Tea Party places it near the foot of Hutchinson Street which is today’s Pearl Street.
They falsely blamed and maligned the Indians. Our heroes also had problems in or with their tea-pee and possibly polluted the harbor at that time. While Samuel Adams tried to reassert control of the meeting, the “poured" out of the Old South Meeting House and headed to Boston Harbor.
Samuel Adams immediately worked to publicize and defend the Tea Party. He argued that the Tea Party was not the act of a lawless mob, but was instead a principled protest and the only remaining option the people had to defend their constitutional rights. He was not the instigator, he was just a guy selling beer, but nevertheless he supplied the fuel for the fire.
Now you know the truth. But there is more, after the TEA was dumped Americans decided to grow their own, and cutting out the Crown, knowing little about Tea or leaves or what makes them grow. It is not an easy grow requiring lots of labor and attention.
Our soil in the states is not conducive to growing TEA and the project basically was a failure. The bottom line was the whole TEA dumping settled nothing, the TEA prices went up, and the war began. The United States today imports 100% of its tea. Basically the good thing was it started an uprising and eventually our freedom.
WHATS IN
A NAME
I have never
cared for the name the “TEA” Party.
Why is it any group that thinks their values and morals might be above
the common mark always grabs a good piece of history. They steal the name and declare themselves instant winners because of the alignment to that historic name? These folks now are part of the TRUMP base, not the RNC party.
Greed, lets face it politics is all about money and power, not you or me. This Tea Party crew today is a mixed bag of some good people and lots of fringe idiots.
I have nothing against the TEA PARTY when they act in a normal rational way, the fair people of the TEA PARTY and I truly believe they mean well.
Then the troglodytes come forth, climbing down from their tree nests and show dangerous threats and tendencies and proclaim to be first cousins of The Party, they need to be thrown out of the tribe. The Pro-life movement was OK in their belief more annoying than anything, till they started getting physical, violent, shooting and killing doctors.
“We’re intelligent protesters, not violent racists, we aren’t dangerous, “ We simply love our country and refuse to be useful idiots, our signs say it all!
Never have truer words been spoken, just read your own illiterate signs you idiots! Sixth grade spelling mistakes.
Becoming an idiot is easy, just make some great mis-spelled signs which is an indication of an award winning method of gaining friends by uneducated individuals who blame the government for their situation.
Look in the mirror, you are the master of your destiny, not the government. Sounds impressive. The Communists, and the American Nazi party are also on the web claiming basically the same line of reasoning. I see your appeal for Donald. He does the blaming for you even though you are the master of your destiny.
The GOPG* base is basically disenfranchised soft minded followers unable to reconcile truth and legitimacy from a scam. Thats who, and has been verified by survey, Hillary was referring to some of them, not all as the deplorable’s.
And she was chastised for saying it till the actual survey numbers came out and indeed prejudice and hate do exist amongst them, in alarming numbers.
THE NAZIS STARTED THIS WAY
The only thing I saw coming from the Tea Party is a style of politics by a few that will upset the many and the Republicans deserve every bit of it they get. They fueled their fires, the created rhetoric having little truth or value and woke up the old Ross Perot Closet Club, the “Bircher’s, and a few Sons of the Birchers” and every costumed clown needing attention at rallies held by FOX’s powerful BS lobby.
The GOP did nothing but choke and this attitude led to the birth of Donald TRUMP and they will get what they deserve. Playing with fire gets people burned.
The government shutdown proved that the Tea Party of today does bear a resemblance to that stupid attack. The Tea Party does not really care about what was good for Americans and The GOP.
It turned out they had their own right wing extreme agenda willfully funded by the KOCH Brothers and others who only recently backed off from TRUMP and spent their money on a mass media campaign for their brand instead.
They recruited and financially supported those who bowed to their agenda, using the FOX news network and its own media resources owned by FOX. They challenged the government with a shutdown, and that shutdown spearheaded by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-) cost the US tax-payers 24 billion dollars.
We have been through the birthers and now we are confronted with the changers. Soon we will have the “ Dependers" if this crap keeps up long enough.
Now thats a horrific sight. I can see it now, hundreds marching down Pennsylvania Ave. all wearing “ Depends". Slogans like "You can Depend on Us", "We'll handle Washington's crap". “We can stop the leaks"! Insane? No, look at some of their signs, not far away.
LETTER TO THE TEA POTTERS
Dear Tea-Pot Heads
If your sign is mis-spelled or uses really bad english, please do not show it to the Media. We are coming across as an ignorant bunch of knuckle walking “Troglodyte” banana eaters, and lets keep our ignorance away from the press. Any good third grader can spell check your sign for you.
Being stupid is not a sin, as well we know, since Michelle Bachmann is stupid, claims divine guidance and speaks proudly as the mother of the Tea Party. She hates being called “ Bat-Shit Crazy” so don’t address and notes to her that way.
Lets keep ignorance to ourselves where it is truly appreciated, share those pictures of Hitler, Black faced cartoons, Nazi symbols,and blatant racism retorts to fellow believers, our families or hang them on the wall of your Outhouse.
Especially the shots of Hitler, looks just like Donald’s flyover. We appreciate your racist support and again get your kids to help you spell the words correctly. Please avoid casual conversation cliches like:
“Hang the lying Kenyan traitor!”
“Plenty of trees in the front yard, Wouldn’t be the first one hung on one of them trees.”
“We’ve got rope”.
“Don’t snap his neck, you pull him up watch him choke to death.”
We know we have been accused of acting like scumbags and don’t appreciate humor, but lets keep it a secret a while longer, we don’t want to make the wrong impression by cracky!
