Roger Ailes noted that maps with images of targets on them are often used in politics, including one from the Democrats in 2007 that contained “Targets on it for the Palin district.”
This is true, they used arrow targets and little mention of guns. The difference is that Palin is all gun. Her entire spiel to the masses is all about lock and load, then reload.
Since the NRA is one of her biggest supporters, it all makes sense. She pretends to talk their talk, just follow the money… see who else in Congress takes the dues money from the NRA, the NRA has a rating system for politicians, some of our good old boys are A+. By the way, these marks are actually printing registration marks, but easily confused with gunsights.
Nevertheless, Ailes said he advised personalities on Fox News to tread lightly. In an email reportedly that had leaked earlier to the incident he told the Channel of Spin to cool things down a bit.
After the shooting, "I told all of our guys, shut up, tone it down, make your argument intellectually," he told Simmons. "You don't have to do it with bombast. Remember Palin works for Fox news.

Too late, one of her aids, Sarah Palin’s new media aide, Rebecca Mansour, GEFI(Grande El Frickin Idiocie) sought to deflect attention from an electoral map Palin posted on her Facebook page last March in an appearance on Tammy Bruce's radio show.
“The images long described as crosshairs or rifle sights were actually just surveyor’s symbols, so Mansour said”.

If you wish to put out smart things hire a smart person, If you want to write stupid things hire someone like Rebecca.
If you try to spin your way out get your information correct. She claims in the inevitable spin game the gunsight icons were “ SURVEYORS MARKS", please, please, cork that.
That shows stupidity above and beyond the call of duty. We believe we have the truth. To set the record straight and to educate Palin's dumb ass spokes-peep, those are not "Surveyors marks". They can't even get the spin right! They are “Registration Marks” used in lithographic or offset plate printing for the past fifty years. My uncle taught me the trade when I was thirteen years old.
Is Sarah Palin to blame for this tragedy? No, not directly. The deranged psychopath that went postal does take the blame, but who set the stage or planted the seed. Congress in my opinion. When people can’t get solution from those we elect they take things into their own hand. When stirred by idiots like Palin the blame is shared.
I find it amazing we are, as I learned from MSNBC Lawrence O'Donnell last night, the only country with a phrase for going off the top and shooting fellow Americans for no substantial reason at all. "Going Postal" is a phrase unique to the US.
Is Sarah Palin innocent and devoid of all responsibility. No, she in competition with Beck, and Rush Limbaugh are just as wacko as those who pull triggers, they are catalysts. She is possibly the most vocal advocates in the political spectrum, she contributed to the aura of violent and intolerant rhetoric that continues to get worse each day and now the seeds of that rhetoric start to sprout.
Some claim her map was done months ago and irrelevant. Thats when this seed might of taken hold, and worse. She was able to use that as a political wedge for her financial advantage, for the sacrifice of many.
PALINS RESPONSE TO THE SHOOTING AND BLOOD LIBEL
Sarah Palin in an eight minute infomercial on Facebook gave her response to the shootings in Arizona, slamming those who blamed her gun tooting spiel and her "crosshairs" election map for the shooter's actions. Naturally it is on Facebook since thats the place her followers mingle to hear the worthy trash she puts out all about, you guessed it "Sarah Palin". Nothing else exists in her world except her. We have finally tagged her as the "Goebbels of Gossip".
In the eight minutes of drivel in a picturesque setting looking to upstage the President, the wounded, the deceased, and anyone else that takes TV time away from her, she paid homage to the victims of the massacre, and expressed her “ Madness” at the "Irresponsible statements from people attempting to apportion blame for this terrible event."
And immediately went into her self indulgent talking points which is expected because she has nothing noble to talk about. She goes on to say: "Journalists and pundits should not manufacture a "blood libel” that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn."

You have to wonder — given the "terrible meaning and repercussions" of the phrase, not to mention the "terrible irony that Rep. Giffords is Jewish" — if Palin was "familiar with its actual definition." She had enough practice attending three different churches in Wasilla, not happy with finding the message she was thinking. And they were not happy with her. Even the one with snake charming and witchcraft demonizing she participated in riding the world of.
The last burning bush was thousands of years ago, she is not quite ready for that phone call in the middle of the night. Some offered the burning bush to her house with her in it, thats how they got rid of witches, didn’t they?
Sarah Palin's eight minute, "I am Sarah Palin" was just like her TV reality series, all about Palin and less about ALASKA. This was about Palin and accusations. But this time she crossed the line. At a time of mourning, pain and hurt she drew or tried to draw attention to herself. She defended her infamous crosshairs visual. She used words and phrases she probably did not know what she was talking about.
Some called it brash, some like Pat Buchannon who is so right-sided his car can't do left turns, praised her for her courage in defending herself. But the majority were embarrassed by her. And the rest of her statements on this issue were so off the wall the building collapsed.
It is obvious she didn't know what the phrase "Blood libel meant". It's also obvious she did not know that Gabby Gifford's was Jewish. Thats the problem, like the loaded gun she is, the mouth opens and stupid uninformed hatred of everything rhetoric come out. It really stands out as the gaff of the century. This was not her day, this day belonged to the victims, their families, and the country.
SHE NEEDS TO GO PUBLIC BUT CAN’TIn the mainstream press, they would destroy her. She does not have the cohesiveness of thought a talented confident bearer of good will, a leader, needs. And thats because she has done nothing for the country except split it, opened the cracks and let the idiots out. When she ventures out to mainstream, she falls flat on her face. Thats why she will not take questions from the press and resorts to Facebook and Twitter where she sometimes controls the social dialogue, many times her ghost writes the stupidity, for her following or curiosity seekers.

The Tucson shooting is part of it. In a moment of time when the nation needed healing, her mouth was all Palin which in turn, out of ignorance or stupidity (the juries still out on this one) exasperated the Jewish Community. The “Blood Libel” affront to Jews. This was a double whammy…
PERSONALLY
I am growing tired of Palin and listening to her constant negativism, ignorance and lies. I imagine going by the poles, much of America is too. Also, now we know one of the reasons John McCain lost the election. They looked at McCain, his thinking out of touch; some felt the election tired him, his age and health questionable; and somewhat irrational decisions.
She was what the party needed to go against the possible Obama-Clinton ticket. But if anything happened to McCain, she would step in as President and people saw that and it didn't work, she was not a prime time player. John McCain went down in flames and never really recovered. The whole bit with the mavericks and independent thinking got swarmed over by the birth of the Tea Pot Party movement.
Her followers in lesser numbers are still there, even the worst of mankind has followers to this day. In the political arena they all have followers, but the ones who do count in Washington are careful to avoid her or avoid commenting about her. When trapped they tell you how nice she is, behind the doors when the Bourbon comes out at 4:00 PM in the back office, it's another story.
The underlying thing about her is fear. They are afraid of her, some see her as a smoker in a dynamite factory. She is now, after the latest remarks characterized as a loose cannon, someone dangerous and that if they comment on her, she will retaliate in the worst way.
There's nothing new about her. If you had no choir, you have no Palin. She only plays to the choir. She will be good for the National Rifle Association, they ate up those fake scenes in My Alaska where she shoots a herded and literally corralled Caribou at 100 yards ( they had rails to guide the victim) with a scoped rifle and three coaches, camera men, sound techs and guides. They did everything but paralyze the caribou first, trapped like a rat.
I was hoping in the bear scenes one would charge after her. That’s what would make a show I would watch. That would be reality in Alaska where the real people seek a solace with nature. Not a killing for the camera, not this staged infomercial about herself. She is as fake as the words and scenes she created. Not Alaska, thats real. She is a sham to the good people of Alaska who deserve better.
She is not the hero of the school board, Wasilla HS still has its problems, she was the mayor of a town smaller than my Condo community, she did not sell the airplane on eBay, and the list goes on. Her books are all ghosted. Much of her touted resume was created by staff and blown over. It may turn out to be the longest running reality show on TV. And then finally it will be gone. I’m just wondering, which will survive longer, her on-going mega drama or the “Jersey Shore”.
