They are very similar. Some say the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree. In this case two nuts fell from the same tree since they both blabber on even though the elder has retired. Ron Paul and his son Rand Paul provide us with the classic examples of thinking outside of the box. Unfortunately they are still looking for the jerk who let them out. Statements just seem to sprout so far off course if they ran NASA we would be getting complaints from all the planets in the solar system. Just what we call slightly off-base. OK enough nice-guy, these two are screwballs, entertaining, and a good source of bizarre commentary but screwballs.
RON PAUL'S PUZZLING CRITIQUE OF MURDERED SEAL CHRIS KYLE
In 140 characters, the newly retired congressman reminds us why he won't top the GOP presidential ticket by saying the following: Chris Kyle, 38, a decorated Iraq war veteran, a former SEAL and author of “American Sniper,” was shot and killed Saturday. Police arrested Eddie Ray Routh, 25, a veteran authorities say may have a mental illness related to his military service.
In response to the news, Paul tweeted: “Chris Kyle’s death seems to confirm that ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.’ Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn’t make sense.”
EDITORS NOTE: As one who has served, knows many who served, volunteers for those who served and have needs, about 50,000, I just had to reply to Ron Pauls statement concerning Chris Kyle.

And after his son and heir apparent to saying stupid things did the most politically inspired attack on the former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. Republican Sen. Rand Paul said Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had been negligent in conducting her job, and said that if he were president, he would have relieved her of her post. Paul said that the fact that she was not aware of the requests of more security for the US Embassy in Libya constituted “a failure of leadership” and said it was “inexcusable.”
“I think ultimately…you accept the culpability for the worst tragedy since 9/11,” Paul said. The only thing proven ultimately is that the cranial-rectal dyslexia this father and son team share has gotten worse and they both should undergo loboto - hemorrhoid procedures. The world has enough nutcases with sh*t for brains.
TEA POTS, CRACKPOTS and USING POT
We need a third party in this country. A real third party offering choice. Not one born of mis-guided theology about religious beliefs, political aspirations, or crafted about an incident in our history. We need a third party simply for good non-intrusive government of the people, for the people, equally and fairly for all. We need a peoples party, an all inclusive party, not a bunch of right wing or left wing par-tiers.
When used, when you think about it, a genuine third party, negates the excuse "I voted for ______ because he was the lesser of the two evils”. So I'm suggesting the Jackass and Dumbo be introduced to the Sloth Party. Sloths...? They fit in perfectly with Washington.
Sure they are slow to move, very slow, they grow algae on their hair because they do nothing and mate only occasionally. Just what we need, cheap to feed, not that fast to screw, and happy living in a tree not that happy on the ground. Many of our politicians don't have their feet on the ground anyway. The perfect political profile. Won't cost us that much, won't get in trouble, and won't show up in Congress. OK, works for me.

The lesser of the two evils will be replaced by "I voted for him/her because he/she was better than the two others. Now thats thinking. So out of nowhere several hangovers from the Ron Paul crew and the Perot days once again, beat the drums and now we have a movement party called the TEA Party. And the usual gangs of offshore nuts have found a mainland nut bag to gather in.
Including but not limited to the son of Ron Paul, Rand Paul who on his debut scored high in votes and very low on political savvy and allowing five toes of his left foot to find a home in his mouth.
For his first comments to the press he was prestigiously given the Alfred E. Neuman award following other winners in the past few years including Sarah Palin, George W. Bush and Michael Steele all three having outscored Joe Biden's Gaffs by thousands of points.
Gentlemen’s Quarterly did a little vetting on their own to find out about Rand Paul’s background at Baylor University, Texas. He did not graduate from Baylor as he scored high enough on MCAT testing to enter Duke University direct without a BA and get his Doctors degree in Opthalmology. He should stick with it. Some have made question, or mention of the fact he has a Doctorate but not a Bachelors. Who cares? He's bright but not smart.
FAST-PACED
Hmmm, in my school system in NY we called it the RA or Rapid Advance. I never went to the 2nd or 8th grades. I could read at a very early age. I graduated High School at 15-1/2. I have regretted it. It put me in a world two years older than me. It was tough dating gals that looked like my older sister. I got chauffeured a lot, a slight benefit. But they taught me a lot. Oh boy, did they. But not as exciting as Rand trip through education.
Rand Paul had some strange times at Baylor U. Well, weird is a better word. Not weird for college, weird for Baylor, it's a Bible, Biblical Bablical type school. And if true, it paints this Tea Partier as a Tea Pot Partier.
This could be explosive times for Mr. Perfect, enough for his campaign to challenge legal action (common bluff in this game) over the article. They (his campaign staff) refer to it as “drive-by journalism by a writer with a Leftist agenda." WOW! now thats an Uber-statement!
GQ declares that all details were "vetted, researched, and exhaustively fact-checked" before publication.
Five points were made, more humorous than serious.
1. Member of a secret society for liberals at Baylor....wow
2. Paul and his "brothers" mocked Christianity at Baylor....wow
3. A drunken Paul tried to dig up a time capsule...wow
4. A stoned Paul "kidnapped" a fellow student... cooperatively (?)
5. And tried to get her to worship false idols....at Baylor (?)
Bottom line, much ado about nothing, he carried on at College just as much as many of us did and perhaps we outdid him. Look at George Bush in college and Randy is a Saint. In fact add a few more crazy dumb stunts, stupid comments, and he would almost be a clone for Bush. In fact Christine O'Donnell's witchcraft and his false idols really perks up the devil made me do it college theme for the TEA POTS. Just remember the mantra, the TEA POTS scream and whistle a lot, but other than boiling water totally useless.
The New Rand Paul Foreign Policy (circa 2014)
With more changes than a chameleon at a Photoshop Convention, Rand Paul switched sides again and that was from the previous week, day, month. Because he really has nothing to say and few really pay that much attention he has to say something to stay in the public eye.
As usual he blasted President Obama's approach to ISIS, then explained what he would do differently if he were president. Not much, we have to understand the Republican senator from Kentucky offers nothing in suggestions only criticisms. The Motis Operandi of the Republican Party.
Paul wrote In a Time op-ed,that he would have "acted more decisively and strongly against ISIS" by launching airstrikes, arming the Kurdish rebels, bolstering Israel's Iron Dome missile defense, and securing the U.S. border. Schmuck, don’t you read the news President Obama has already done just that. He ordered 125+ airstrikes in the past month against ISIS; shipped arms to Kurdish forces;provided $225 million in emergency funding for the Iron Dome; and, in the face of GOP obstructionism on immigration, eyed executive action to strengthen the border.
The only area where Paul diverges from Obama is that he would order Congress back from vacation to hear his plan.
"I don't blame President Obama," he said in a late June appearance on Meet the Press where his stand was against the idea of a U.S. military intervention, saying, "I'm not so sure where the clear-cut American interest is.” And as recently as August, Paul wrote a column arguing that hawkish interventionists had "abetted the rise of ISIS."
But Paul's newfound hawkishness is remarkable. He has always been a peace nick dove and an isolationist, but slowly he changed once Russia invaded Crimea, and once ISIS began swarming across Syria and Iraq. His Time op-ed even bears the none-too-subtle statement "I am not an isolationist nor am I an interventionist,” Paul is speaking out of both sides of his mouth, "I look at the world and consider war, realistically and constitutionally."

GOP's fixation on voter ID laws a 'dumb idea’
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Sunday that while he supports the idea behind voter identification laws, he thinks his fellow Republicans are foolish to make them a centerpiece of their party platform. "It doesn't mean that I think it's unreasonable," Paul said on Meet the Press. "I just think it's a dumb idea for Republicans to emphasize this and say, 'This is how we are going to win the elections.” Since voter ID laws disproportionately affect minorities and the poor, Paul said that emphasizing such laws could understandably drive non-white voters away from the party.

Rand Paul: Vaccines Can Lead to 'Mental Disorders
Republican Sen. Rand Paul is standing by his statement that most vaccinations should be "voluntary," telling CNBC that a parent's choice not to vaccinate a child is "an issue of freedom.” In an interview with the network Monday, Paul said that vaccines are "a good thing" but that parents "should have some input" into whether or not their children must get them.
And he gave credence to the idea - disputed by the majority of the scientific community - that vaccination can lead to mental disabilities. "I have heard of many tragic cases of walking, talking normal children who wound up with profound mental disorders after vaccines," he said.
Paul's comments came the same day that Gov. Chris Christie said that parents should have "a measure of choice" in whether children are vaccinated. The New Jersey governor, who -- like Paul -- is considering a 2016 run, later issued a statement clarifying that he believes that "there is no question" that children should be vaccinated for diseases like measles. Earlier Monday, Paul said on Laura Ingraham's radio show that "most" vaccines should be voluntary.
