PARTISENSH*T

THE PRESIDENT AND THE PODIATRIST

Calluses are hyperkeratoses of the skin and actually share a few things with politics. And the President should take heed thus we offer the following. Lets see what we can come up with:

1)  First, scientifically, calluses are thickening of the surface layer of the skin, usually in response to pressure or friction. Compare this to the party of NO, the hardline, no flinch no answers, similar in medical terms to hardening of the brain. This is their form of pressure. We call them the teat-pot party.

2)  Calluses usually form on the ball of the foot, the heel, and the underside of the big toe (hallux). They may, however, form over any bony prominence.

This is true: In politics the foot callus usually forms at the other end of the skeleton, the mouth. Thus the expression "foot in mouth".  Calluses may be simple thickening of the skin. Many not just some politicians also have a thickening of the head caused by a deep seated "core", known as a-nucleation or "party line as in politics".

Yesterday the President spoke about immigration. A tough topic. But like Health reform, and Banking reform, he is addressing those tough problems ignored by a Congress for decades and nothing was ever done. It's just like a callus, years of ignoring and suddenly you have pain and discomfort. Again ignoring or putting off of our problems just like that callus have been allowed to grow and never dealt with.  But he has been pressing the issue for six years and gotten stonewalled by the useless House and so the useless Senate.

So you have a choice, endure the pain and discomfort, buy softer shoes, or go to the podiatrist and have it removed. Obviously we haven't been seeing the doctor.  Then the doctor tells us we have to cut and then panic sets in. So we take the lame way out, we buy all these chemical answers. Months later when nothing works we finally go and get it removed.

Ladder Products, our personal line of congressional fix-alls now offers our new emollient made for those whose calluses have migrated to their mouths as in "Hoof and Mouth" disease reportedly running amuck in Republican circles. The four ounce travel size can easily be refilled from the 55 gallon drums available for larger groups gatherings such as the "State of the Bunion”.

KICKING ARSE, NOT THE CAN
The President in a memorable moment speech put things exactly in the right perspective. He used the phrase we will not be "kicking the can down the road". Mr. President, with all due respect, it's more than "kicking the can".   Our stoic faced Congressional Nimrods obviously not wanting to be seen working with the administration, or fixing anything, have been moving landfills under the can to avoid working things out. The can is still in the same place. With hundreds of bills stone-walled in the Senate, this amounts to treason for the American people. We are in the other "can”.

A NOTE TO CONGRESSMAN BOEHNER, QUIT WASTING OUR TIME AND MONEY

Dear Congressman Boehner,
Other than nothing, what have you accomplished for the American people during this administration. Thats a little more than six years by Congress and staff. Each part of Congress has about 30,000 folks on the payroll.  The taxpayers are paying all these people to produce and work together. It's obvious we are not getting our moneys worth.

The everyday reader doing the most basic of research will discover all those projects have been stone-walled and rotting as Congressman Boehner promised he would do.

They have passed the house and are lying in state in the Senate. One vote shy. including a couple of hundred Judges whose appointments are waning away and sorely needed for the overflow of judicial work that needs to be done.  It's really simple, it's not about the people anymore, and that is Congressman Boehner's favorite tag line, "the American people want this or that",  and he goes off and slams the President in the ancient language of  Ish-Ka-Bib-Beil. Sort of like "speaking in tongues for politicians".

The right wing fringe groups are not all the Republican party. They are not the majority. If you listen to only one group, you will get only one answer. It is not representative of all the American people. So when he says "this is what the people want, who is he talking to?

The guy on the next barstool? OK, we'll give him the benefit of the doubt or the three other guys he's playing golf with while the country is being torn apart.  That George Hamilton tan he has didn't come from the dark halls of congress. It comes from the links, he denies tanning salon.

FROM THE WEB:
The real score: "Rounds of golf: 100 plus. Golf expenses: $83,000. Membership at all male club: $75,000. Special interest travel including golf junkets: $159,000. Raising the retirement age to 70 and voting to end unemployment benefits: priceless. For those who want an out-of-touch pro golfer for a Congressman, there's John Boehner.

ALMOST BABLICAL
Well, very bablical. The same frickin party line, over and over. The rant consists of  party slogans and bits from the wars of 2000-2004 with the occasional "shout out to Ronald Reagan".
I suppose someone should let Boehner know Reagan passed on, and his politically correct economic trickle down theories only work if the workers who it trickles down to are working here and alive in the United States.

As to Boehner's habits, rumors abound on the hill about his laziness, but this kind of obstructionist leadership is tatamount to treason because Americans are suffering due to his decisions.  How does he explain all those corporations and jobs that went overseas while he was in Congress. What did he do to stop the exodus?  Nothing. Ohio you should be proud, you have 10.7% unemployment.  Well done. Who is your Congressman and what has he done to help things?

Last time I checked with the Chinese and the Indians they were very happy with our economics. They love our checks, and then they steal our ideas.  One of them even gives us the money to write those checks with and then we pay outrageous fees for the loan. I don't know what Boehners smoking but Joe Scarborough from Morning Joe, took a well deserved great shot at him the other day.

Congressman Boehner, you don't speak for me. You are part of the problem. You are not part in any way of the solution.  I have watched you tear down everything the President is trying to fix that YOU voted for the past eight years and has failed. He, our President is at least is trying. No one has the answers, it seems and it appears you haven't spent a minute of time trying to help find solutions.

Your leadership in the Congress came off of the footsteps of those who also got thrown out. Republicans do eat their own, Charles Halleck in the 1950s, Bob Michel, Newt Gingrich in the 1990s and there are some still choking over the spoiled meat Newt was. Like Mrs. Newt.

Add the self inflicted wounds of your party people involving abuse, morality and bribes in the past two years, and your endorsement of the lies and rumors spread by members of the GOP, you are a failure.

My former party hasn't shown me much. I was a card carrying Republican for almost 48 years. My party is embracing lunatics and frauds like Palin and Beck and shows me little except how really gullible and lazy some people are. And how stupid you are to support this kind of rhetoric it appears you are not the voice of reason, I think you are the voice of hatred, greed and self.

WAKE UP AMERICA
Our problems are deep and the political reality soothsayers are nothing but false prophets for real profits. You paid Beck 32 million last year and Palin 12 million for a bunch of jokes and rhetoric. No substance, no answers, just jokes and slams.   No wonder some many in Hollywood are looking at Politics. Simple, it's just acting, it's on stage, and you make more money. Go from the red carpet to the green carpet just by telling people what they want to hear, not necessarily the truth, just what they want to hear. I can't believe people are that stupid.

With the likes and leaks of Joe Barton, John Boehner and Rand Paul, Sessions, and the supreme idiot of the party, Steele, who does not have the word "reality" in his Funk and Wagnells, these are GOP leaders that clearly demonstrate Republicans are completely out of touch with the economic struggles of ordinary Americans.

They don't have a clue because for eight years they all got well taken care of. "To thine own self be true"...and fiducially fruitful taking the good fruit and leaving the rotten parts for the rest of us.  basically they are covering their own asses.

We need a public referendum system amended to our Constitution so it goes back to the people. Waiting four or six years to "dump a chump" takes too long. Look at all the damage the last renter in the White House did in eight years.  Yes, we do have problems are with our system. Praised as the greatest system in the world, yet it is not without shortcomings.

Citizens have no override for the rules and regulations set for the Senators and Congressmen who make their own job descriptions as they go along including benefits and payroll.  Based on some of the report cards of our politicians, I have a solution.

Lets do what they do in business. "Hey sales are down", production slows down, the company has less revenue. The solution is to lay off 10-14% of the Congress and 12% of the Senate since their plans and brain farts have caused the drop in jobs. Combined with their staffs we could save a lot of money.

SLEEPERS
The real problem lies with the people that believe all the BS from FOX and support it are actually the victims of it.  Also, they support politicians and "journalists" who flat out blatantly despise them. Working and poor people either faithfully watch Fox and dutifully repeat the brain washing as their own.

So how does the average Republican politician who pretty much tells the poor and working people flat out that he is for eliminating all our social safety nets, lying about all of them, social security, welfare, unemployment, Medicaid, Obama care and Medicare and our unions while berating Obama still gets elected?

Ignorance of what he or she really stands for.  This category of voters are one of two things:

•  Super intelligent, self centered, selfish bastards who understand their position and do anything to protect it.
•  Fearful little intellectually bankrupt, uneducated people who are devoid of upbringing and typically seem to have no grounding in questioning things.

Because It's not just Fox, it's all the outlets, especially CNN that loves to drop any hint of real news to cover the latest dead celebrity to the point that I seriously hypothesized that CNN apparently considers that a celebrity death a cure for the world's problems!
