FROM HELL FOR THE CHIEF TO HAIL TO THE CHIEF
WHAT A RIDE IN 2012 - SOON 2014
It’s taken me a week to settle my stomach and get back to normal after the electoral process ended. If ever there was a Maalox event this was it. Almost four years of hellish lies, spins, conflict, anger, deceit and well, just some filthy politics and corruption. OK, a normal political year adding "but not advertising once again the no-no subject of racism".
Led by Mitch Mcconnell who said, "My job for the next four years is to make the Presidents term, a single term. He indicated to those in the party, anything goes”.
Thank goodness this is the United States, If Stalin was alive and President, Mitch would be deader than horse fodder. He is horse fodder because his statement indicated he didn't care about the country, it was the party he basically controls. The strong southern GOP senate and house, which in practice, shows they are still suffering from delusions still believing the south won the war, slavery has not been abolished and Obama was born in Kenya. They just can’t believe a young black man is the President and it really ticks the white-haired southern conservative element to no end.
"The bastard obstruction machine born to Mitch McConnell" has been stamped with bloviating distortional statements and misinformation smothered in more lies than Dr. Goebbels told, and served with a liberal and generous conservative dose of bovine pancakes.
Fortunately, Mitch is facing re-election this year and maybe the country will get lucky and a meteorite will fall on his head. The gigantic space antenna asteroid center in Puerto Rico is under sequestration and maybe one will slip through. The problem is who would replace him, the TEA PARTY is plotting.
THE MASTER OF DEBATE, DEBATES A MASTER-DEBATER
Our Commander and Chief, victorious once more showed us a few new sides of himself. He became strong and combative after being shaken by a poor performance at the first debate. A slick move to the center by the failing Romney team threw the President off guard. "Fool me once, your fault, fool me twice, my fault".
He came back guns blazing, rhetoric on fire, powerful and Mitt buttered up. Melted in fact. In the next two debates it was all President. Yet after the election win he showed he is compassionate, shedding a tear and humanly kind toward those who supported him and offered a steady composure for those who didn't.
He even invited Mitt to the WhiteHouse on the 29th of November for lunch. Mitt accepted and asked if he could bring a food taster. The President suggested Karl "Himmler" Rove, and that way they both could solve their biggest combined problem.
It proves the theory that RICH does not equal (=) INTELLIGENT, it just means you have money. Why did the GOP lose the election… they didn’t lose their base, plenty of nuts in that bowl, a smarter party won it from the people's choice, the way it should be…
TAMING BY THE SHREWS
The GOP allowed the Tea Party to do its dirty work in 2009-2012. At every opportunity at town hall meetings Congressman were broached by insults, challenges, being shouted down and not permitted to speak at their own meetings. So much for the freedom of speech, fairness, and calm intercourse.
The Republicans were elated at all the problems and negativism being dumped on the Democrats and there was take of taking back the senate and the White House.
This created a Neanderthal versus the Troglodytes Tactical Plan within the GOP. It still worked for a while till the people caught on. The GOP thought it had the perfect storm makers, wrong. It soon backfired as the TEA POTS had deeper and more intrusive pans for the GOP.
More rallies of disruption, misinformation and obstructionism, and inspired by Mitch McConnell’s classic throw down, the gauntlet of his version of America was replaced by theirs. The TEA PARTY had backstabbed the Republican Party.
The TEA PARTY, more a coalition with themselves than a party, without a caucus, was born. The press ate it up like maggots on an elephant carcass. Whatever you think of journalism and the press, forget it. Bad stories sell twice as good as good stories and scandal does even better. The ultrafast media of today and the Internet allow the wrongs to travel faster than the rights.
Big rallies were held and many showed up. Just like other political enterprises founded by history's greatest crowd pleasers like Adolf and Benito, Saddam Hussein, Al-Assad and others. These were patriots, and they let you know with huge rallies, lots of cheering and self congratulations, and many mis-spelled signs. Too bad education was not on their agenda. Learn how to spell you idiots!
ENTER BOEHNER
It worked and they managed to get in 2010 almost 87 followers in the House, which gave the Speaker of the House Boehner heartburn, severe heartburn.
That cut into his 100 rounds of Golf he plays every year, even the golf couldn’t calm him. And with friends like Eric Cantor and Grover norquist, who needs enemies, Body Armor, a better idea. So instead of compromise he was forced to take on the President. For years our country has understood compromise for the sake of itself. The TEA POTS did not allow compromise. And gridlock became as big as the Hoover Dam and Americans suffered. We learn a lot from history, many of the things that occur, they come back to inspire us or haunt us.
A STALLED CONGRESS
They could prevent, or obstruct any bills from passing and Boehner had little he could do about it. The inmates were running the institution. And three hundred unsigned bills and programs went to waste. Along with the integrity of the Republican party. Congress suffers from a 5% approval rating.
It seems few of those folks knew the true story of the TEA Party - Go here I didn't, so I researched it, fascinating. It's a whole different booze inspired moment of time. With that said, the TEA parties actions back in those days were small in comparison to today’s events. You could get away with what happened in those days, today we have encompassing attacks like 911, stalemated ten year wars, techno drones, missiles, nuclear bombs and the fact that we live in a global world and we are a country of 330 million diverse people.
A small government can't run that many people, period. The states can't do it either. There has to be a government. If you do not understand that last sentence go climb back in your cave. In the face of Katrina's and Sandy's of the global world, any individual states FEMA program would have failed and lots more people would be dead by now.
As George Bush the first said at the G20, this is the NEW WORLD ORDER (Go here) No it's not about the bombings, jack booted troops on our soil, or even the Black helicopters so brought forth by the NRA, more propaganda for membership dues, it's about how money rules the world and we are a global economy subject to the pitfalls and competition.
The Colonials never had a Brazil, Russia, India, and China, (the so-called BRIC community) plus Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Germany for competition. They wanted a better price on TEA. The political side came later.
So in 2010, the TEA POT party got greedy and impatient and that cost Republicans control of the Senate. Really inept, weird, strange witchcraft took over with poor candidates like Delaware's bewitching Christine O'Donnell and Nevada's Sharron Angle who would bring slavery back if she could in 2010.
Add TEA POT-HEADS like the medically inept play doctor abortion duo of Missouri's Todd Akin and Indiana's Richard Mourdock this year, Scott Brown, Allen West and others went by-by. The people had had-enough of their rhetoric.
Mitch McConnell might have been the new majority leader, instead he led a rout. Harry Reid gained four or more Democrats in Congress. To his delight, will continue to lead a sometimes cohesive Democratic majority.
