THE TEA PARTY TUPERWARE

POKER FACES SHOULD GET THE POKER  9-5-2013
 - It all started at the the beginning of this week, the Republicans got what they threatened in the House, to shut down the government.  They wanted to end President Obamas health-care law. Tea Partiers were just as ecstatic as the crowds at a former hated leader of Germany rallies.

The Republican majority house voted on a continuing resolution that would defund ObamaCare, despite the fact that Obamacare is now the law of the land.

One has nothing to do with the other. ObamaCare is funded by participation.  More mis-informed voters.

The Republicans lie about these things.  When I hear the rhetoric and what they are doing I take it personally. You need to go back and look at history and what happened to those who weren't perfect according to one group during WWII.

Thats what OBamaCare is all about. It incorporated those that don't have all the privileges of our society like the benefits those received in Congress.

This is my anger.  Cancer programs have been cut and I have folks involved looking for a few more days to live.   All it created was the shutdown and a confrontation with the President who will not back down. He didn't and the Democrats closed ranks.

WE SENT THEM TO DC TO SOLVE PROBLEMS, THEY BECAME THE PROBLEM

Think of this as a bear trap, forget Donkeys and Elephants.  The Republicans set up the bear trap and told everybody what they were going to do. The bait was "fear that defaulting the government and there would be public outcry".  When it didn't work, they went over to check the bait, moved it ever so slightly and cut their own arms off". Good for them.

Five days have passed,  President Obama and Democrats refuse to accept anything but a clean budget bill. And the polls show most Americans see the truth and the heat falling on the GOP. Approval ratings for President Obama and Majority Leader Harry Reid  are doing well.

On the other side House Speaker John Boehner, not a friend of the Tea Party has Eric Cantor at his back with a knife and Ted Cruz at his front door with a bulldozer.  By not standing up to the TEA PARTY and KOCH's Coal Money and worrying more about his own job, Boehner's legacy might be the "Great Boehner's Boner".  His legacy already includes personal attacks on the President and bringing the House approval rate to the lowest ever.

The Republican Party as a whole, not just the TEA party clowns is its lowest point in the poll's history. As with several other surveys, the poll also found Americans more likely to pin blame for the shutdown on Republicans and well they should.  Enough of this both sides are at blame. Cut the BS, we know who is at the heart of obstructionism.  Layoffs, starving kids, head start , cancer research, one party is at blame.

But Not all of the GOP is to fault. The TEA party now known as the TEAR party have moved the GOP so far to the right they are spinning in circles. The party cannot win this shutdown battle and must move on. We are facing the default on the national debt, certainly far more harmful than the shutdown and some of the moderates are speaking out.

THE CRUZER IS JUST LOOKING FOR RECOGNITION

BYRON YORK - Though hard-line Republicans "see no plausible way out of the current impasse,"The Washington Examiner's Byron York reports, they were nonetheless committed to pressing on "because they've come so far they cannot imagine backing down now."  In short, they know they've lost, but aren't willing to walk away embarrassed and empty-handed.  "I think there's a sense that for us to do a clean continuing resolution now — then what the hell was this about?" one House member told York.

It was like that moment during the Republican Party search for a suitable Presidential candidate race when Perry of Texas couldn't even remember the question he was responding to.  Simply put the "weretheforkawie" tribe had new membership.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), a Harvard grad whose fellow past students referred to him in very poor terms, was  warned by other GOPer's that his game plan would be a disaster.

Several of my Jewish friends used the forlorn centuries old term "schmuck" to describe him.

Boehner caved in fearing for his own job he took ten years to fix, after he was disemboweled in Congress with Newt Gingrich. He made a ten year comeback only to walk into a Tea Party.

THEY THOUGHT HE WAS A WIPEASS -TURNED OUT HE WAS A ASSWIPE
Cruz's fellow GOP members accused him of  of sabotaging the entire party while insulating himself from the blowback. He led them to the cliff, cheered them on and as the Republicans one after another went over and then declared, I changed my mind.  Thats OK he's still in bed with Rand Paul, the mis-guided sperm cell that came from Ron Paul.

And the debt ceiling, the only thing hanging on the ceiling should be the nooses of the ropes supporting every Republican who stated this mess.

Anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist noted for his ability to get GOP folks to sign their integrity away, summed up the sentiment best, telling The Washington Post that Cruz had "pushed House Republicans into traffic and wandered away."  Hope he meets one of those drivers that are laid off and gets new stainless teeth made from a bumper.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is reportedly asking Democrats for a "face-saving victory for Republicans looking for a graceful way to back down," reports Jonathan Weisman at The New York Times. (That face-saving measure is reportedly a repeal of a tax on medical devices.)

BOTTOM LINE THEY BLEW IT BAD
